Gal Gadot was born on April 30, 1985, in Rosh HaAyin, Israel. She grew up in a Jewish family and served two years as a soldier in the Israeli Defense Forces before beginning her career as a model. In 2004 she won Miss Israel and went on to compete in the Miss Universe pageant. Afterward, she began modeling for various brands including Castro and Gucci.
Acting Career
In 2007 Gal decided to pursue acting by studying at the IDC Herzliya college while continuing her modeling career. Her first significant role came as Gisele Yashar in Fast & Furious (2009), which eventually led to her reprising that role for three more movies.
In 2016 Gal was cast as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016). Her performance caught the attention of fans worldwide and became one of the bright spots of an otherwise divisive film.

Gal met real estate developer Yaron Varsano at a party ten years ago when he said he couldn’t stop looking at her booty shorts. The couple married on September 28th, 2008; they have two daughters Alma Versano born November 2011and Maya Versano born in March 2017.
Aside from her acting career, Gadot is also an advocate for various causes. She supports the Israel Defense Forces and has been involved with promoting the Israeli Tourism Board. In addition to that, she is a brand ambassador for Revlon and has worked with organizations such as Pencils of Promise and Save the Children.
